VICA x SANKOFA

The Valencian Irish Cultural Asssociation (VICA) performed in June 25' with their original theme "Farewell Chris" in honor to one of the integrants Chris Dove, who recently passed away during May 2025. Chris used to be part of the irish musicians communities living in Valencia, always optimistic, charismatic, and welcoming to everyone interested on join the singing circle. The VICA meetings and events frecently happen at Sankofa, an intercultural space at the neighborhood of Patraix, so this illustrations are inspired on their performance who took place at Sankofa, during their bimonthly event 
"Fem Barri" organized by Sankofa with the local community.

Both illustrations were made with watercolors and coloring pencils. I personally enjoy a bit more the art process when is mostly handmade, maybe because of my fine arts background.
